We believe your salary, financial compensation, payslips, and tax deductions are strictly private. inHander is engineered from the ground up with zero backend data persistence.
100% Client-Side Processing
All tax calculations, dual regime modeling, HRA exemptions, and EPF computations execute locally inside your web browser's JavaScript sandbox. No calculation figures are ever transmitted to any remote server.
On-Device OCR & PDF Parsing
When you upload or paste an offer letter, screenshot, or payslip PDF, document text extraction and OCR run entirely in your local browser memory using WebAssembly. Your files are never uploaded to the cloud.
Zero Database Storage
inHander maintains zero databases for user data. We do not store your name, salary numbers, company details, or tax numbers. Once you close your browser tab, all session memory is purged.
No Tracking Cookies
We do not use invasive third-party cross-site trackers, advertising pixels, or device fingerprinting. You visit and calculate anonymously every single session.
1. Data Minimization & Information We Collect
inHander (inhander.com) strictly adheres to the principle of data minimization. Because all computations occur within your client browser environment:
- No Personal Identifiable Information (PII): We do not ask for your Aadhaar, PAN card number, bank details, or employer credentials.
- No Account Creation: No sign-up, email registration, or phone number authentication is required to use any calculator or tool.
- Web Server Logs: Standard HTTP server logs (such as IP address and user-agent) may be recorded by our edge CDN host solely for routing traffic, DDoS mitigation, and site reliability. These logs are not correlated with your salary inputs.
2. URL Query Sharing & Local Storage
When you customize numbers in the calculator, parameters (such as ctc, basic, sec80c) are encoded into the URL query string using standard URI encoding.
This enables you to bookmark your calculation or share it with yourself. We do not store these share URLs in a remote database; the state lives entirely within the URL string itself.
3. Compliance with India DPDP Act 2023 & Global Standards
inHander complies with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP) of India and the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Because we do not process, store, or profile your personal financial data on our servers, your statutory right to privacy is respected by architectural design.
